In 2014, a wild bean goose was released into the East-Dongting Lake, deployed with the backpack GSM/GPS transmitter that was developed by our company. Solar panels supply energy for the transmitter. The transmitter will run in 24 hours of real-time monitoring and then returns the data back to the surface workers, which helps the researcher control some information of the bean goose all the time, for instance, flying route, flying time, and the location and so on. Thereby we can judge the living and migrating rules of this bean goose and its population, and then further refining the relative information of protecting been gooses.
